The area from Watch Hill to Smith's Point on Fire Island, known as the "Wilderness Area" due to it's undeveloped state. The Wilderness extends for about 8 miles.

Noise Control

44,000 fans can cheer with a good bit of volume. Connor, at his first major league ballgame, goes with a tried and true method of noise abatement. Gotta love a kid who knows how to adapt!

Urban Icon

The recent restoration work has returned Grand Central to it's former glory. More than a train terminal it is truly an art deco treasure.

Old and new...Traditional and Modern...makes for an interesting contrast.

Urban Connections

"What do you think this is....Grand Central Station?" I recall hearing that question repeatedly during my formative years. Now I am eager to turn to anyone who will listen and reply, "Yes indeed it is!" :-)

The Coach

Son (the coach) and grandson (player #7)...life lesson: be careful when you say "Yes" or you could just wake up and find yourself coaching 8 year old soccer players in suburban Milwaukee.

New Fan

At age four we weren't sure how Connor would handle nine innings at the ballpark. I think that we have added to the fan base as he was a very happy camper throughout the whole game and is already asking about the "next game".

Grandson Connor is an enthusiastic and quick learner. I cringe to admit that some of his shots are better than mine!
