Free Tibet
A rally/demonstration for Tibet was an opportunity for me to try my hand at some journalistic images. Demonstrators were very good natured and seemed eager to be photographed. Upon seeing the camera, these men adjusted the sign and faced the camera. This scene was in the plaza by the UN on a saturday morning.

March Evening
A sure sign of Spring's impending arrival is the location of the setting sun in the Western sky. For me, it is encouraging to watch as the sun sets more and more to the Northwest with each passing day. An earlier photo taken from this location in January shows the sun setting in the left portion of the frame (Southwest). The entire process begins to reverse after the summer solistice in June.

Splash
On her way down...dive gear above the surface is clumsy, fins and weights make being graceful difficult prior to entry. It's always a relief to leave the topside chaos (other divers gearing up, etc.) and plunge into the world of a quiet and peaceful Bonarian reef. Alida's happy grin is almost visible behind that regulator!

Night Life
So what's to do after a full day of Bonaire diving and a dinner out? Not requiring elaborate entertainment, feeding and attempting to photograph the bats brought us more than a few hours of fun. Darting very quickly, these guys made for a challenging subject! The free food seemed to meet with their approval... :-) (See the additional image below)
