Summertime and boardwalks...somethings just never go out of fashion. It has always amazed me that people, while on vacation, will spend money on things that they would rarely buy any other time. It's not unlike trying to win that over stuffed teddy bear at the county fair. It's all in that category of "it seemed  like a good idea at the time". Ahh..summer!

I suppose that if you wait long enough many once common place items become "art". This reminder of the Jetson's era is the original deal and offers close access to the boardwalk. I can't help but wonder how many pairs of drivers eyes were relieved at this sight over years and years of holiday traffic. If you have sat in summer beach traffic snarls, you can relate!
