Calendar says "November", thermometer says 48 degrees, sunset starts real early tomorrow....yikes!
Time to start thinking about following these guys south. Another month or so and the Sunshine State will look very inviting.

Spring Training is such an positive time of year. A whole season ahead, nobody is in last place and everyone's batting average is the same! As a fan, it's wonderful to get "up close and personal" with some of the players.

No snow but plenty of wind….The arctic blast from the north has created some rather treacherous sea conditions in southern Florida. Small craft advisories have been posted for several days now. Shifting winds from the north and east in the 25mph+ range make for unsafe boating conditions.

The Juno Pier...not only a great photography venue to catch surfers. Here one can stroll out in the ocean, get a tan, catch some fish, gaze at the beach from beyond the breakers or catch a sunrise to warm the soul.

The surf's up along Juno and Jupiter's beachfront. That can mean only one thing...surfers (and photographers) flock to the beach. Showtime, however, seems to involve the same five or six surfers in spite of the fact that the waves are filled with folks "sitting" and "bobbing" on their boards! Fun to watch...

Along the ICW sandbars provide for impromptu beaches at low tide. Weekends often see some of these sandbars filled with festive boaters. Having the local tide tables on hand becomes an essential part of the fun. Life is Good.
