Of course, no visit to Cape May is complete without a trip to the lighthouse. This structure, built in 1859, is the third lighthouse constructed at Cape May point. The other two structures are now underwater due to coastline erosion. On a clear day one can see some impressive views of Delaware and points far north up the Jersey coast.
