Changing seasons...By mid-October the setting sun will be almost in the middle of the canal, by the 21st of December it will be out of view to the far left of this image (Southwest). And, yes when Spring comes around again it will set out of view to the right edge of this photo. It's sort of a "canal calendar" for me. I suspect that if I had paid more attention in Jr. High science class that I would not find all of this so interesting. :-)
